Rebecca Stephenson

Rebecca Stephenson is currently working as an intern at Umvoto Africa. She holds a Bachelor’s of Science with Honour’s in Geography from Rhodes University. Her Honour’s degree was focused on a climate study of the Grahamstown/ Makhanda basin, but the year also included work in political ecology, Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and remote sensing, as well as extreme events. Rebecca has a passion for sustainable living and equitable access to resources for all people, which is further supplemented by her background in economics and environmental science. Rebecca hopes to begin her Master’s studies in the coming months.
