Rebecca Wepener holds a Bachelor’s of Science with Honour’s in Geography from Rhodes University. Her Honour’s degree was focused on a climate study of the Grahamstown/ Makhanda basin, but the year also included work in political ecology, Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and remote sensing, as well as extreme events. Rebecca has a passion for sustainable living and equitable access to resources for all people, which is further supplemented by her background in economics and environmental science.
