Collaborators are members of our multi-disciplinary, inter-agency network that believe in our vision and are willing to provide their insight and expertise. Our Collaborators help to connect us to other individuals, organizations, resources, and tools that support our work. We also draw on our Collaborators to join our work as formal project partners, when appropriate. Maintaining a strong network of Collaborators helps to reduce duplication and increase the efficiency of our efforts towards healthy environments, sustainable development, and empowered communities in the context of climate change adaptation at local and global levels.
Strategic Advisors: Our Strategic Advisors provide input at critical points in project and organizational decision-making. They help us keep up to date with latest trends, research findings, technical solutions, and important policy initiatives.
Technical Advisors: Our Technical Advisors provide expertise in specific fields relevant to our work. This includes education, arts, earth sciences, technology, engineering, and community engagement and planning. They offer our team specific advice and recommendations as well as opportunities for capacity building and learning.
Cultural Advisors: Our Cultural Advisors work along side our team and support planning and coordination of local initiatives. They ensure that work follows local protocols and customs, is inclusive of and responsive to diverse groups, and is grounded in local and Indigenous Knowledge.
Project Partners: Our Project Partners are collaborating individuals or organizations who have an integral role in our programs and research and advocacy initiatives. Project partners include grassroots members, governmental and non-governmental organizations, academics, scientists, artists, and important community champions and leaders. These partners may provide their expertise and support project planning and implementation at local, national, and international levels.
