Vivienne Thomson is the founder and lead environmental consultant of Over the Moon Consulting. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Zoology from the University of Cape Town and is reading towards her Master’s in Environmental Science. Vivienne has over 23 years of experience in the construction, power generation and mining industries, with 16 of these as an independent consultant and environmental assessment practitioner. Her work as an environmental consultant has gained her experience with impact assessments, establishing and implementing ISO 14001 compliant management systems, training, legal compliance and much more. Vivienne is a member of the National Association for Clean Air, where she served as both a committee member for the Vaal Triangle branch, as well as a National Council member. She has also been a member of the Committee of Interested Parties for Pricewaterhouse Coopers’ ISO Certification Body, as well as the South African Coal Ash Association and an affiliate of the Institute of Innovators and Inventors.
